FBI Email System Hacked And Used To Send Fake Cyberattack Warnings
Usually it's not hard to identify fake emails. Sometimes, the attackers don't even bother trying to disguise their email addresses, but some of them are clever enough to attempt and include keywords in the address to arrive seem legitimate, simply if you lot've been on the net long enough, they can be easily spotted.

The FBI has since confirmed that they are aware of the situation in a statement to Bleeping Computer, where they said, "The FBI and CISA are aware of the incident this morning involving fake emails from an @ic.fbi.gov email account. This is an ongoing situation and we are not able to provide any additional data at this time."
Troia himself has likewise since come forward where in a tweet, he hinted at who could exist behind this attack and suggested that this was not the first time that person has tried to harm the researcher'south reputation.
